We’ve just upgraded all of our instances to 2.12 and it seems that none of the indicators of type number (i.e. with a denominator of one) are not calculating correctly.
When I try to edit the numerators, I see that the expressions are well formed and can save the denominator, but when I try to save the indicator on the next screen, I get the error message: (This field is required
under Denominator). I’ve checked that indicator type “one” is set to number.
I saw this a while back, but think it was either a bug or related to the upgrade (which required a clearing of the browser cache). Did you try on incognito mode of Chrome and see if the same thing happens?
Also, I assume that the “one” indicator type is set to “Number”?

Hi Randy,
I am also working with these indicator types and have not had any problems. In defining your Indicator Type "One", did you set the [Factor] field as 1? Is this what you meant by being able to save the denominator?

Just tried this on our dev instance, and had no problems. Could you please do as Jason suggests and clear out everything in your browser? or test with incognito mode?

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ve tried in another instance that we upgraded and it works fine, but even in incognito mode the problems continues in the instance I’m using. Thankfully Bob Jolliffe is here so we may find some time to troubleshoot further.

In the add/update indicator type screen you need to set “number” to Yes. Ie. it is not enough to just use 1 as the factor. You may want to check if this is the cause of the problem.
