DHIS 2.16 Upgrade - Failure of Importing Incoming SMS

Dear all,

I recently updated my database from DHIS 2.15 to DHIS2 2.16; revision: 16400 (2014-09-02 22:39).

The HTTP gateway is configured and outgoing messages are successfully sent; however Incoming messages for the keyword ‘Alert’, forwarded to the upgraded instance seem to be failing to be imported into the system. I have tried to review the log files, however I cannot see any problem.

I sent out 3 messages with one, directly from a phone (256717…) through the text aggregator and 2 from the web using the Aggregator’s forwarding URL.

However for the rest, nothing seems to be happening. I am attaching the last updated log files as of this morning

Hi Sam,

Could you please do the following step:

  • Go to the SMS Command page and check if your Alert command is still there.

  • If it’s still there, open that command and review all configuration to see if it’s still the same. Then click the “Save” or “Ok” button to persist the command in the db.

  • Test again

Please let me know if the above step work.

I have done that; also tried deleting and recreating the command. The messages are still not getting imported.
