Is anyone aware of a bug relating to the standard data entry forms not rendering for Aggregated, Tracker and Events? I’ve done all allocations (DE to DS, DS to OU for Aggregated data and DE to Stage to Program to OU for Event and Tracker). I’ve also checked the Sharing Settings. But the DataSet and/or Program is not appearing on the respective data entry screen when selecting the OrgUnit.

I had a discussion with Elmarie yesterday who informed me that in order for a DataSet or Program to appear on the drop-down for data entry, they need to be linked to a User Role that contains that specific DataSet or Program.
Armed with this info I searched the dhis2-devs email threads using different key words and found some conversations that confirmed this.
However, in 2.21 there is no option for either DataSets or Programs do do this assignment as there was in 2.20 (see attached screen shot from 2.20). Did this functionality move somewhere else or is it a bug? I need to know urgently please.

It appears that in 2.21, the link between the Program and the User Role is established in the Users app (when you create/edit a User Role and allocate the Program; then allocate that User Role to the User). Hence the duplicate option called “+ Assign Program to User Role” that used to be on the Program menu was removed. It makes perfect sense to manage User Role allocations from the User side rather than the Program side.
My Program is now appearing on the Event Capture screen.
