Dashboard Filter in Event Reports and Event Visualizer Does NOT WORK

Dear Community Members,

I am experiencing an issue with my dashboard filter. It does not filter charts and reports created by Event Reports and Event Visualizer, but only filters those created by Data Visualizer.

Can anyone provide assistance with troubleshooting this issue?

Hi @Geoffrey_Nyamongo

Both apps are legacy apps and most of the development is on the Data Visualizer app. If you can open the visualization by the Data Visualizer app then the dashboard filters should work.

I am not sure there’s much I can do with the older apps.

I am using Event Reports and Event Visualizer to generate reports and charts from data elements of a tracker program.

It possible to achieve the same outputs using Data Visualizer on the data elements of a tracker program?

Kindly help me with tutorial links.

Hi

The Data Visualizer app is for both the Aggregate and Tracker data models. I’m not sure what the charts are but would love to test a long. As for the Event Reports app, you might want to try the Line Listing app instead.

I am trying to generate a Pivot Table using the Data Visualizer on the data elements of a tracker program as shown below where one data element is on the row dimension and the other data element in on the column dimension.

I am having a similar question. I have tracked entity attributes I was able to visualize in Event Visualizer that I cannot see anymore. They cannot be visualized in the Data Visualizer as far as I have been able to see. Pivot tables no longer a viable options since Event visualizer is also not working properly on our DHIS2 version 39.3
