Last month, we had such a great time together as a community! Three community meetups, the 2026 DHIS2 Annual Conference | Climate & Health Academy event, DHIS2 App Competition voting, and more community participation within the CoP including the fun CoP Activity.
All of this has been engaging and interesting because of the community - YOU!

Bug Hunters
Many users who faced issues and discussed them with the community were very helpful in finding bugs. These bug hunters create Jira issues (with link to the CoP post) and support the development of DHIS2.

Feature Finders
We do tag feature finders in every copmonthly so if you have features that you’d like to share and discuss with the community feel free to make a post, and follow the instructions to add ideas into the software roadmap process.

The challenge for this month (July 2026):
Last month challenge was about the Reports app - very popular, but what could be just as important and popular? Events! This question is so essential, you might want to revise the subject if you miss the answer (I had to revise to get the accurate answer, too!).
- An event is a series of related data entries within a program.
- An event is an isolated activity or instance recorded with specific details, like a consultation or a disease case.
- An event is the overall structure that organizes various health programs in DHIS2.
- An event links multiple data points over time to provide relational analysis
