Connect dhis2 android capture with the application installed on a local server

Hello everyone,
I have been trying for several days to connect the dhis2 capture application, installed on my android tablet with the application installed on a local server.
I followed several documentations, I created an account and assigned rights, my tablet is connected to the same network as my local application but the connection is rejected every time.
I enclose the error message as an image.
If someone could help me or direct me to a more detailed explanation because in the dhis documentation, they talk about having an account and a link to matomo. The problem is that accounts have to be paid for and I don’t want to have to pay if possible.
Thanks for your help

Hi @koloo

If you open the web browser in your tablet using the same link are you able to access the login page?

Good evening and thank you for your reaction, when I open a browser and enter the same url it sends me to the server.
I’ve created a user with the role data entry, I try to connect but it gives me the mess

I checked the port redirection in the server.xml file.
my server is on my local network in http
Clipboard02

Hi @koloo

It is really simple.

  1. You must be connected the same network, so your tablet should be in the same address pool
  2. Use as server addresses http://ip_address:port. No need to add anything else
  3. Enter username & password

Nothing else and it should be enough

Hello everyone,
First of all, I’d like to say a big thank you for your promptness, I was able to access the server from the tablet, the problem was the link used on the tablet, indeed, http ://ip_address :port, was the right link.
Thanks again,
I hope to come back to you to learn more if needed.
