Hi, i’m implementing a dataset with a “combination of categories” (attributes) and i’m having issues when i input the data. Everytime i insert a value i get “Attribute option combo does not exist for given category combo and category options”. The category combination has 5 categories of 46, 5, 7, 2 and 13 category options.
My guess is there are too many combinations and the system is breaking before making all combinations but i don’t know how to confirm it. I’ve tried running the “Maintenance > Update category options” to no avail.
If my guess is wrong or if you know how to confirm it or if you have had the same or a similar issue and know of ways to go around it or fix it i’m all ears.
Just to confirm,you mean that you have 41860 category option combos? This does seem rather extreme.
I am not sure if it so much a system issue,but this sounds like an extreme use of the category combination design pattern. Could you explain a bit more about what you are modelling with this approach and also include logs of the server which might provide a better idea of what is going on.
