I have a problem here. I want to update category option combos after I have added category options and assigned them to categories. Updating them using maintenance under data administration takes time and my dhis2 instance times out. Is there any other way I can do this. I have many category combos already in my instance
Not an expert but I think “it’s expected”, especially if you have a lot of data.
On timeout normally the process “continues” in the background.
But it might still fails, you’ll need your administrator to look at the log or the running queries to tell you how it ends and he can perhaps add more resources to the server to make it “faster”.
May be @Gassim knows better.
Thank you @Stephan_Mestach, I have just noticed that it doesn’t stop on time out but it does take long (I checked the tomcat black screen). Till now from yesterday it is still updating them.
