Can't add organisation unit levels in 2.14 build 13820

I think other have seen this issue. I’m setting up a new database and the option to Add New is missing from the Organisation Unit levels screen. I downloaded the latest stable build tonight.

Any suggestions?

Randy Wilson

Hi Randy,

The levels are created based on the orgunit hierarchy in the database, and not the other way around.

So if you first create some orgunits in a hierarchy and then revisit that page, you will see the levels listed.

The orgunit levels page is mainly to provide labels to the levels, and not to create levels for the orgunit hierachy.

This is true, but it is very important to actually label the levels, if you don’t go through this step a lot of things will not work ( you can keep the default names “level 1” etc if you want, but you have to open the page and click save)

Thanks Ola,

That makes sense. I added a facility at each level and was able to see the levels.
