Hello everyone,

Please how do we update the organisation units group sets of an Organisation Unit in DHIS 2.21, ?

Sincerely

Hi Guy,

You have two options here:

  • set the org unit group set to Compulsory, which will make it available in the org unit form as an additional drop-down (but this won’t actually make it mandatory - it can stay empty)

image

  • edit the org unit group and assign the new org unit(s) to the group

The latter is usually easier for existing org units, and the former for newly created org units (provided that they are created through the user interface, one by one).

Hi Bram,

Thank you, for the first method i have Set Compulsory to YES in the Organisation unit group Management but it’s always not showing additional drop-down list in the org unit form,

in DHIS 2.21, when you edit organisation units :

-Datasets can not be assigned to organisational units

-Organisational units group sets can not be assigned through the individual drop-down boxes which appear for each group set.

In 2.21, there is a new´system setting. It is found under settings > access > “Allow assigning object to related objects during add or update”.
