Can be done, but quite a bit of work. Have look in the source code at dhis2\dhis-2\dhis-api\src\main\java\org\hisp\dhis\period which will give you an idea of how to implement new period types.

Hi Guy,
No there is no other way which I know of , short of pulling the data out of the system and reaggregating everything in something like Excel or some other tool.
You could sort of do this in the PivotTable module using the totals in a certain way, but it would be tricky.

Maybe you could just create a report for these specific years? That would seem to be a bit easier. Or do you need to aggregate yearly data to a single five year aggregate?
